  • Siouxland Youth for Christ

    Karl Van Cura, Director

    Siouxland Youth for Christ reaches un-churched middle and high school youth in the Siouxland area. Our mission is to connect young people with caring volunteer mentors and staff that will lead them into a life-long relationship with Christ. We then introduce them to the life of His Body, the church, to nurture their new life in Christ and help them mature into gifted leaders. We make these connections through our 6 core ministries including Campus Life and Campus Life Middle clubs, YFC Core (friend2friend), City L:ife, Juvenile Justice, and YFC Camp. As Executive Director, Karl leads a staff who facilitate ministry through more than 130 volunteers and 3 teen center's in 4 Siouxland counties, personally impacting more than 1250 students last year.

  • Mike & Amy Walsh

    Global Outreach Mission, Inc/Roscommon, Ireland

    Grace Community Church, where the Walshes serve, has taken root in County Roscommon in Ireland and by God's grace they hope to reach out to the neighboring county of Longford. The Walshes continue distributing Gospel calendars and booklets explaining the Good News of Jesus Christ to all the homes in their area. The West of Ireland is still a needy mission field: less than half of 1% are Bible-believing Christians. Grace Bookshop, which is housed in the church building, has been another means of getting the Gospel out. Other ministries include the Ladies' Coffee Morning, Men's Bible Study and a youth group called "Rock".

  • Mark & Rae Wilson

    SIM USA/Guinea, West Africa

    Mark is the coordinator for the Maninka Audio Media Outreach in West Africa where they are producing an oral Bible book by book. Rae enjoys friendship evangelism with Maninka women.

    WorldVenture/Brussels, Belgium

    Fred and Janet operate on a two-track ministry in the Capital of Europe. On one track, they teach, preach, train leaders and give direction to Stockel Church. The Young's second track of ministry involves outreach to the basketball community via FormaSport. FormaSport is a Belgian non-profit organization where Fred leads basketball clinics, summer leagues, and U.S. college visitations.

    Awana seeks to reach the NEXT generation with the Gospel. Ron and Claudine Glynn serve as Awana missionaries to the State of Iowa.  Their mission is to introduce the ministry of Awana to local churches, equipping them to impact their community and the world with the gospel of grace.

    Biblical Restoration Ministries, Inc., is based in Sioux City and uses Christian principles to enable people to process and deal with traumatic life events that have resulted in ongoing problems.  Their desire is to facilitate spiritual growth in clients which result in the restoration of their relationship with God and others. Through Biblical teaching and interaction, they address the core issues in their clients' lives that serve to feed their presenting problems.

  • Dan & Rene' Brygger

    CRU PRison Ministry

    Dan and René minister to inmates in the state prisons of Wisconsin. They lead a large team of volunteers who have a “win-build-send” ministry inside the prisons. They use every opportunity possible to introduce inmates to Christ. Then they begin the building process through Bible studies, discipleship groups, and individual appointments. They train the Christian inmates how to use creative initiative evangelism among their fellow prisoners. The Bryggers also represent CRU in Operation Starting Line, a nationwide evangelistic collaboration of prison ministries.

  • Child evangelism fellowship of siouxland

    cefsiouxland@gmail.comThe mission of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) is to evangelize un-churched children and their families with the Gospel, disciple them through ministries such as Good News Clubs and the mailbox club, and establish them in a local Bible-believing church. CEF of Siouxland is currently in transition.  Lisa Belk is interim director. She works with the church, providing teacher training, resources, and material to make an impact on the world around them in their own neighborhoods. Good News Clubs are held in public elementary schools and other locations throughout the region, JYC clubs are held in the middle schools, and summer 5-Day Clubs are in backyards, parks, or wherever children can gather. The Siouxland Chapter is made up of Lyon, Sioux, Plymouth, Woodbury, Monona, Ida, and Sac counties, reaching over 1500 children each year!

    The Gideons International is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through sharing personally and by providing Bibles and New Testaments. While they are known worldwide for their work with hotels, they predominantly share Scriptures in schools and colleges, prisons and jails, hospitals, and medical offices.

    The Gospel Mission exists to “Feed the hungry, clothe the poor, shelter the homeless, and lead them to Christ.”  The outreach offered is for the whole person, addressing the physical and feeding the spiritual, using the Word of God as the resource to provide hope and a future to those who will call upon His name.  The Gospel Missions is a non-denominational evangelical Christian ministry, thanking the churches, businesses, families and individuals who donate time and resources while entreating the Lord on their knees for the ministry.

    As Paraclete Associates, with Paraclete Mission Group, Doug and Jan assist missionaries and national staff of mission agencies serving around the world with intentional listening, encouragement, multi-cultural team building and issues, and provide Sabbath rests; consulting both on the field and via the internet through various means of communication. The Hamms live and operate from their home base in the Omaha, NE metro area, and also provide 1-3 month ministry service overseas.

    Deb Sypersma, Director

    Her Health Women's Center (formerly the Alpha Center) in Sioux City, Iowa provides complete, accurate information and compassionate advice to individuals facing decisions about unplanned pregnancies. Everything Director Deb Sypersma and her staff do is focused on allowing the client to make healthy, informed and livable choices. Their purpose is to promote sexual integrity by equipping individuals to make healthy, life-affirming choices. Services provided at no cost include pregnancy tests; confidential advice; Earn While You Learn parenting classes; referrals for medical care, adoption and other assistance; factual information about abortion and spiritual hope and healing from the emotional scars of a past abortion; and sexual integrity/abstinence-until-marriage education.

  • Byron & Susan Kroeger

    Way of the Cross Ministries/Harlingen, Texas

    Way of the Cross (WOTC) is an evangelistic ministry with the purpose of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to train up others to do the same. They minister in Mexico, Nicaragua, and along the border of South Texas in the Rio Grande Valley. Byron and Susan host the many church teams that partner with WOTC as a mission outlet holding evangelistic services, sharing the Gospel, and distributing food and gift bags. Byron heads up the building program seeing to the maintenance needs of the ministry facilities. He also assists in the mechanic shop keeping the ministry vehicles up and running.

  • Martha Kroeger

    Way of the Cross Ministires/Harlingen, Texas

    The purpose of Way of the Cross is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and train others to do the same. Their objective is to establish indigenous churches and to provide for the training of national pastors and leaders. WOTC seeks to show the compassion of JESUS to the poor, needy and the afflicted by the sharing of food, clothing, medicine and medical supplies as God provides. They work with people in Nicaragua, Mexico, and the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. Martha Kroeger is involved in planning and preparing for large crusades and conferences. Much of her time is spent mentoring younger missionaries and national youth and pastors in Nicaragua. Martha is also given opportunities to use her nursing skills in medical evangelism and care of the missionary staff.

    Chicagoland Community Church (C3) is a church that is focusing on the center city neighborhood of Lakeview as a mission field. They actively present the good news of Jesus both to the successful and the marginalized of this upscale, urban environment. They particularly focus on those who are seekers, skeptics, or are new to the faith, teaching clearly the entire Word of God without compromise. C3 is passionate about multiplying the small: so their focus always lies on forming new context groups, starting new branch congregations in similar neighborhoods, and helping to plant new daughter churches in different settings.

    Youth for Christ USA/Central States Region

    Serving with Youth for Christ/USA, Bill and Sandy work with the Central States Region. The mission of YFC is to reach young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement. As National Field Director, Bill supervises the Central States Region in areas of leadership development, ministry effectiveness, regional and national training, as well as the development of new ministry sites.
